Hamid Bashir is a physician based in mid-western United States who came up with the idea of "Music4Cause". He is using music as a tool in order to raise awareness of pertinent issues such as religious intolerance, terrorism, social injustice and war.
Music4Cause's philosophy is that music should have a soul and a sense to it. You don't have to look odd or follow a cliche' to get your voice heard. You can get inspiration from something ugly around you and still come up with something beautiful.
